Master craftsman Seán Daly draws inspiration from the rugged landscapes of the Dingle Peninsula, the ancient stonework of Ireland’s southwest coast, and the rich Celtic traditions that have endured for centuries.
Celtic Flame
The Celtic Flame design is Dingle Crystal’s most iconic and cherished pattern. Inspired by ancient Celtic carvings Sean encountered 25 years ago, this design came to life 15 years ago in dazzling crystal. Its intricate, flame-like etching reflects Ireland's rich heritage and the enduring power of its traditions. A favourite among collectors, Celtic Flame ignites the spirit of Ireland in every piece.
Beehive Design
The Beehive Design is inspired by the ancient stone structures found along Ireland’ssouthwest coast. This intricate pattern reflects the masterful stonework of these prehistoricbuildings, blending their timeless beauty with the skill of modern crystal craftsmanship. The Solas design radiates contemporary elegance, created to mark Dingle Crystal’s 10th Anniversary. "Solas," meaning "light" in Irish, is a tribute to the ever-changing play of light across the stunning landscapes of the Dingle Peninsula. Featuring an upward flame motif, this design symbolizes hope, renewal, and the natural beauty of Ireland’s western shores.
Dingle
The Dingle pattern encapsulates the beauty Sean first encountered upon arriving in this remarkable town. Featuring a delicate Celtic band and a Fuchsia flower motif, the design is a celebration of the vibrant blooms that thrive across West Kerry. A timeless reminder of Dingle’s charm, this pattern carries the spirit of its namesake in every cut.
Skellig
The Skellig design embodies the rugged majesty of Skellig Michael, a dramatic rock formation rising from the Atlantic Ocean. Its bold, deep cuts mirror the sharp edges and timeless strength of the rock. Inspired by the Irish word "Sceilg," meaning "rock in the ocean," this design is a tribute to Ireland’s natural wonders and enduring heritage.
Blasket
The Blasket design pays homage to the Blasket Islands off the coast of West Kerry. A Celtic band elegantly connects three flat olives, representing the islands, while the bold cuts beneath reflect the untamed power of the Atlantic Ocean. Harp & Fuchsia
The Harp & Fuchsia design exudes simplicity and charm, uniting two iconic symbols of Ireland. Mount Eagle Collection
The Mount Eagle Collection celebrates 20 years of Dingle Crystal, honouring the woman at the heart of its story, Liz, the beloved wife of Sean and mother of their five children. Liz’s entrepreneurial spirit, resilience, and vision were the driving forces behind Dingle Crystal’s success. Inspired by one of her tattoos, the Mount Eagle design features a feather-like pattern blending traditional craftsmanship with modern artistry. It is named after Mount Eagle, the south-western gem of the Dingle Peninsula, where Liz found peace and inspiration. This heartfelt collaboration between Sean and his children beautifully symbolizes the hopes, dreams, and positivity Liz instilled in them.
